1964, Prek Leap

"I worked my heart out. Not to run away, but to arrive."

Dust, ink, and the will

Prek Leap (1964–1968)

The price of freedom was high. At the Prek Leap Forestry School, the wealthy businessman's son was suddenly nobody. Without his family's support, he learned the bitter side of life: hunger, hard work, and nights without light.

But it was in hardship that he found his true strength. Between washing dishes by the roadside and studying by candlelight, his character was forged. This is the chronicle of a young man who had no childhood, only one goal: to become a forest ranger. It is a time of camaraderie among equals, marked by red dust, aching pride, and the unwavering will to succeed through one's own efforts.
